Yves Beck Rating the Château de Peyrel – Wines of Bergerac –

Château de Peyrel is a small wine estate located in the South-West of France, in the Bergerac wine region. This family estate produces red, rosé and dry white wines in AOC Bergerac on 8 hectares in organic farming, but also in AOC Rosette through sweet wines. It is representative today of the wines of Bergerac.

Château de Peyrel has made a name for itself this year in the Bergerac vineyard and in the Bergerac wines, thanks to its “Château de Peyrel Blanc Sec 2019” vintage, which received the best score given by the taster Yves Beck for Bergerac wines with 91/100. This cuvée is the fruit of an atypical know-how and a unique terroir, located on the north of Bergerac.

Château de Peyrel 2019 – 91/100 Yves Beck
This Château de Peyrel cuvée is the result of careful vinification and maturation on the lees for 12 months in stainless steel tanks, with 3 years of bottle ageing before marketing, which gives it complex aromas and great finesse.

Château de Peyrel is a great discovery for lovers of quality wines and local products. If you are in the Bergerac region, do not hesitate to visit the domain and taste their wines. You will be sure to have a great time discovering the treasures of this little corner of France to make up your mind about the wines of Bergerac.
